Twilight Leads Teen Choice Awards 2009 Nominations

They dominated the 2009 MTV Awards bagging best fight; best movie and best lead actress in a movie (Kirsten Stewart), now “Twilight” is expected to reap more awards in the 11th Teen Choice Awards this coming August 9 at 8pm with a prime time telecast on August 10 at FOX. Fans are expecting the entire cast appearance lead by the hunky actor Robert Pattinson who has turned from anonymous to every girl’s favorite vampire “Edward Cullen”.

Special appearances and presenter for Teen Choice Awards 2009 Nominations includes the “golden balls” himself David Beckham, High School Musical 3’s Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudges, Transformer 2’s Megan Fox, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Morrison, Keke Palmer, Kristen Bell, Jordana Brewster, Shawn Johnson, Daren Kagasoff, Kim Kardashian, Jennette McCurdy and Emma Roberts. Post Grad’s Alexis Bledel, Gossip girl casts Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester, Ellen DeGeneres and Ashley Tisdale will also grace the stage.

What makes this Teen Choice Awards 2009 different from other award giving bodies is that it has a “Do something Award” or “Choice Celebrity Activist” which notices achievements of remarkable young people receiving $10,000 each for their cause with one lucky winner who will receive the $100,000 as a grand prize.
