Michael Jackson: Death of the King of Pop

The king of pop, Michel Jackson died at the age of 50 after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest in his home in Bel-Air. He was pronounced dead on arrival after paramedics rush him in Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Minutes after this news was released in TMZ, fans crowd outside the hospital to mourn the passing of this legendary artist. Michael Jackson's music was continuously played as family members arrive and crowd starting to grew.

Michael left his three children namely Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson II.

I Heart Netbooks

I've been using a Neo Empriva laptop for more than a year now and believe it or not I still think that it's too big for me. One of my tech savvy friend suggested I should get a netbook instead since I am mainly using my laptop for browsing and checking of emails. Its a necessity in my job but I want it to be an accessory as well.

Though netbooks isn't as powerful as a bigger notebook computers, it can still catch up when it comes to usefulness. I found this one particular brand from savebuckets.co.uk that I am intrested with. The new acer aspire one notebook, caught my attention since I'm more of a superficialy person rather than techy when it comes to gadgets and stuff. I like the design of this netbook plus the fact that you have four different colors to choose from.

Did I mention that this actually weight less than 3 pounds? Awesome right!

According to reports the most affected of all the person involved in this scandal is Maricar Reyes who happens to have a wholesome image and doctorate degree. You might have seen two of her scandal videos but I'm sure you haven't seen this one.

Hayden Kho and Maricar Reyes is doing the nasty in the sala in their full naked glory. And guess what, they are doing it during it day time and obviously this time Maricar knows. I haven't seen the full video yet so I cannot comment.

Watch Boys Over Flowers Online

I just finished watching the live stream of Boys Over Flowers also known as Boys Before Flowers. This is a Korean drama TV series which is an adaptation of Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango. I was lucky to watch the fast streaming full episode with English subtitle in this link.

I have to be honest that I am not really a fan of watching TV series because I think most of the storyline are relatively conventional. However I was really entertained by Boys Over Flowers because it gave me a roller coaster of emotion. At one moment you are laughing, the next, you are crying in tears. I also commend the acting performance of the actors and actresses in this TV series especially Koo Hye Sun and Lee Min Ho who played the part of Geum Jan Di and Goo Jun Pyo respectively.

P.S. Lee Min Ho is incredibly handsome and is perfect for the role of Goo Jun Pyo.

The importance of rewarding employees

Encouraging employees to work is not easy. You don’t exactly know what each employee thinks and what their lifestyles are and for this, it seems difficult to know what type of incentives and recognitions to give them. Perhaps, the real question is not only what type of recognition and incentive you need to give your employees but when do you actually need to give it to them.

In the workplace, the importance of rewarding employees is to obtain a favorable behavior on a frequent basis. When an employer gives his employees incentives or rewards daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, chances are the employees feel satisfied about the tenure in work. The more rewards receive, the higher the rate of work satisfaction. The question to what and when to give incentives depends on timing and the establishment’s budget.

Incentives or rewards can either be big or small but the establishment can assure of its expected results when these are given in the right time. Whatever time frame (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly) an establishment chooses, each has its own advantages and disadvantages in terms of budget and resources.

There are various techniques of giving recognitions to employees and these sets of techniques are dependent to establishment’s objectives, goals and budget. Before selecting what type of recognition technique, make sure it enhances fruitful teamwork inside the workplace.

2009 NBA Finals Game 2

The Lakers want a 2-0 lead against the Magic. While the Magic wants to even up the series.

The Lakers shows a little edge on the first half with ending it with a five points lead 40-35.

But unlike the blowout Game 1, its a fighting Magic team battling against the Los Angeles Lakers. The 3-point bombs of Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu are hitting there targets on the third quarter. Dwight Howard is dominating the boards and doing a good job blocking some shots. Magic takes the lead on the after 3 quarters 63-65.


But the Lakers are unmoved. They were able to neutralize the sudden surge of the Magic. They have taken the lead back 71-68 at the start of the 4th quarter until Magic's 3 pointers hit their targets again. Both teams are 88 a piece with 9 seconds left on the ball game.

With only 1 second left of the game, Hedo Turkoglu heroically blocked Kobe Bryant's layup and Courtney Lee missed the winning layup to extend the game overtime.

Unfortunately for the Magic, Lakers still has more fire power left up there sleeve. Its all a team effort for the Lakers to dominate the Magic 101-96 in an overtime game.

Its a 2-0 Lakers lead in the series. Game 3 is on Orlando's home court where they will try to win there first game against the Lakers.

2009 NBA Finals Game 1

Lakers Takes Game 1.

Its 1-0 for the Los Angeles Lakers againts the force of the Orlando Magic 100-75.

Kobe shows why he is one of the finals MVP prospects. Despite the strong defense of the Magic team, they cannot stop Kobe Bryant.

Dwight Howard failed to pull his team this time. He is guarded well by Lakers' three big men Gasol, Odom and Bynum. Their 3-pointers are not good enough to win the game. Against the Cavs' team Magic seems dominant outside and inside. But the against the lakers they were short.

Kobe as always is unstoppable offensively he score 18 points only for the first half to put the Lakers in command 53-43 at the end of first half. He poured 18 more at the 3rd quarter alone to score 36 points and place the Lakers way ahead 82-56.

"We wanted to come out and keep our energy up," Bryant said. "We wanted to stay aggressive and it was my responsibility over the course of the game to keep it going."

With the Lakers' 26 points coming for the 4th quarter its been decided what team will take game 1. Kobe finished with an all-around game of 40 points 8, assist 8, rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Game 2 will still be played on the Lakers's home court. Its just game 1 of the NBA finals but looking at the score it seems the Magic needs more adjustment to even the series. The Magic had never won the NBA championship in their entire franchise while the Lakers are aiming for their 15th.
