Conflicker Worm hasn't hit April Fool's Day

So much have been written about the infamous Conflicker Virus who is believed to be programmed and activated this April 1st to welcome the 2009 April Fool's Day.
However at the moment, Conflicker Worm hasn’t hit yet.

Conflicker is a computer worm that was identified in October of 2008 that specifically attacks Microsoft Windows operating system. The worm has combined the used of advance malware functions making it very difficult to detect and hard to stop. Conflicker Virus will attack your computers when given a command. With one command it can get all your personal data in your computer and prevent the installation of Windows updates and other Anti-virus System that can stop the worm. Furthermore it has the ability to mutate, pull and push executable data over thousands of network.

Conficker Worm is believed to be one of the worst computer worm infections since SQL Slammer in 2003. Microsoft is now offering a $250,000 USD reward for any information that can lead to the arrest of the worm creature or individuals behind the creation and/or distribution of Conficker.

Although the virus hasn’t caused any serious damage as expected it would this April Fool’s Day, its still better to be confident that your computer is clean and safe. It was believed that the publicity on the April 1 prediction attack date had most likely caused the Conficker’s creators to postpone the unleashing of any malware. Nevertheless Conflicker Virus is definitely not one of top april fools day hoaxes and pranks like some people think it is.

ironically, to help people from being affected by Conficker, the government could issue a public statement telling people to stay *outside* as much as possible...
