2010 NBA Finals Live Updates
Game 1 - The Los Angeles Lakers proved their dominance in the game. Kobe Bryant and Paul Gasol combined to past Boston Celtics in Game 1. Bryant finished with an impressive performance of 30 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assist and a block, while Gasol made his presence felt with 23 points and 14 rebound. Lakers wins game 1 102-89 and lead the series 1-0.
Game 2 - The Boston Celtics bounce back behind Ray Allens NBA Finals-tying shooting hand of 8 3-pointers and Rajan Rondo's triple-double performance to tied the series at 1 game a piece. Allen finished with 32 points 8/13 3-pointers and Rondo with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assist. Series tied 1-1.
Game 3 - Despite playing in their own homecourt, the Boston Celtics were unable to contain the ravishing Los Angeles Lakers. Only Kevin Garnett delivers for the team to keep the Celtics within striking distance against, Allen's did not hit any field goal and Pierce continue to struggle. Derrick Fisher of the Lakers on the other hand step up big time in the 4th quarter to handed the Lakers their second victory of the series. Lakers lead series 2-1.
Game 4 and 5 will be played in the TD Garden, Boston's home court and if necessary games 5 and 6 will shift back to the Staple center in Los Angeles. Game 4 is scheduled on June 10, 2010 at 9:00 PM ET.
