After the two-hour event Miss Venezuela, Stefania Fernandez was crowned as Miss Universe 2009. Topping all other gorgeous candidates from more than 80 countries on swimsuit, evening gown and personality interview categories.
First Runner Up was taken by Miss Domincan Republic, Ada Aimee De La Cruz. Second Runner-Up by Miss Kosovo, Gona Dragusha.
The Candidates who made it to the Top 5 were: Miss Australia, Rachael Finch; Miss Puerto Rico, Mayra Matos Perez.
On Top 10 were: Miss South Africa, Tatum Keshwar; Miss Czech Republic, Iveta Lutovska; Miss Switzerland, Whitney Toyloy; Miss USA, Kristen Dalton; and Miss France, Chloe Mortaud.
